About...
I started crocheting mid 2020 during lockdown. My husband has always encouraged me to find a creative outlet that would give me joy and I'm so glad that he did! You hear that..you were right!
I quickly discovered that making Amigurumis (I call them "friends") were my favorite things to crochet. I'd make the corny joke, "If you can't see or make new friends, I will MAKE you new friends."
Not only does it bring me joy, but I can also do it while sick in bed. I suffer from a disease called Hypokalemic Periodic Paralysis so sometimes I suffer from episodes of muscle weakness/paralysis. I've had other artistic interests in the past, but it's difficult to play instruments or paint/draw when you suffer from muscle weakness. Because of this, crochet was the perfect fit for me. It was easy on my hands, while still giving me joy and a sense of accomplishment.
Thank you again for visiting my site and I hope that you fall in love with crocheting as much as I do! :)
Happy Crocheting!
